
Retail Sales Growth Manager

As a National Retail Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing and executing sales initiatives that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Retail Channel Lead to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Establish and lead close working relationships with senior representatives of multi-brand retail partners.
- Develop partner sales efficiency and maximize Apple product sales to end-users.
- Develop and manage reliable forecasts, using Apple's sales forecasting tools and processes.
- Hold regular performance and planning reviews with channel partners.
Additional key responsibilities include:
- Agreeing quarterly marketing and in-store/on-line activities to meet weekly sell-through targets.
- Ensuring all POS forecasts from Partners are reliable and understanding weekly variances where applicable.
- Working closely with Reseller Operations to forecast and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales forecasts.
- Providing input to Channel Marketing quarterly activities and in-store programs.
- Developing strong working relationships with virtual teams covering operations, sales outcomes, marketing, business development, field team and strategy.
- Implementing planogram programs with in-store managers, as prescribed by Apple.
- Representing the Apple brand at the highest level.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Channel management and retail sales experience preferred (at least 8 years).
- Consistent track record in delivering ambitious growth targets.
- Direct experience with merchandising plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with online retail industry would be beneficial.
- Professional manner, maturity and outstanding customer and partner skills.
- Forecasting, quota management and partner management ability.
- Good intuition for business skills in engaging senior partners' management team.
- Passion, personal drive and sense of humour.
- A willingness to learn combined with positive attitude.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Sophisticated communication skills including English.
- Track record in following through commitments.
