The CGH Consulting Rooms at Sale are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, accommodating full-time and part-time staff, private specialists, and visiting specialists. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through our multidisciplinary teams and ongoing development programs.

About the Role

The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and management of patients under the supervision of senior clinicians. They will participate in the duties of care for inpatient admissions and presentations to the Emergency Department (ED). Close collaboration with other members of the clinical unit medical team and wider multidisciplinary team is essential.

Paediatrics experience may be gained through additional rotations in Emergency. Classifications for this position will vary depending on qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clinical management of patients, including history taking, physical examination, investigation, assessment, care planning, and coordination.
  • Initiate immediate clinical management, including pain relief and interventions for patient comfort and safety.
  • Monitor management of patients under supervision, incorporating diagnostic testing and follow-up of results.
