The Reservations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving room occupancy and revenue growth through effective inventory management, rate optimization, and team performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in hotel reservations or front office operations. They will be responsible for supervising the reservations team, ensuring high levels of customer service and efficiency.
- Oversee daily reservation activities, including individual, group, and corporate bookings.
- Ensure accurate recording of all bookings in PMS and CRM systems.
- Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to monitor availability, rate strategy, and booking trends.
- Supervise and support the reservations team.
- Manage daily reservation activities.
- Record bookings accurately.
- Work with Revenue and Sales teams.
- Handle escalated queries or complaints.
- Train and develop team members.
- Assist with reporting on key metrics.
- Maintain knowledge of room rates, packages, and market trends.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual who is able to multitask and remain calm under pressure. The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in hotel reservations or front office operations.
- Familiarity with property management systems (Opera desirable).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
