Effective supply chain leadership is a crucial component of our operations' success.

This role involves leading a comprehensive supply function, ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, issue, security and storage of materials and equipment. To achieve this, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance our values, safety culture and performance.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a supply mining environment as a senior, hold a current MR Drivers Licence, High-Risk Licence, Senior First Aid and Dangerous Goods card, and preferably SAP experience.

A high level of communication skills and ability to lead a small team are essential for this role. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Applying and imparting knowledge and skills in the leadership of the supply function diligently;
  • Ensuring minimal disruption to operations by the timely requisition and Receipt of required materials;
  • Maintaining a productive working relationship with planning and mechanical personnel, liaising with them to accurately understand their service requirements;
  • Proactively managing stock levels of critical spares and consumables;
  • Assisting with reporting and auditing when required;
  • Storing inventory received within the warehouse, so it is easily located within SAP;
  • Providing ongoing leadership and mentoring to the Supply team;
  • Conducting stock takes, ensuring sufficient human resources available to deliver the objectives of the task and client service delivery requirements;
  • Preparing, analysing, and distributing reports on supply activities.
