Job Overview

The Disaster Recovery Specialist plays a pivotal role within the team responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery during critical events. This position supports the performance and optimization of disaster recovery processes, guaranteeing IT services remain reliable and available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate testing schedules and ensure alignment with the Service Continuity Policy to minimize business disruptions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve non-compliance issues and optimize testing cycles.
  • Design and maintain service continuity testing schedules for high-impact systems to ensure ongoing service provision during disasters or similar events.
  • Assess the impact of changes on systems, applications, and infrastructure to determine requirements for IT service continuity.
  • Work closely with key IT stakeholders to plan testing in advance, focusing on optimizing tests to reduce impacts on the business.
