Job Title: Human Resources Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Superintendent to join our team at Newmont. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, and workforce planning.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to departmental managers and employees
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the operations of the Brucejack Mine
  • Collaborate with the Regional HR Team to develop and manage internal/external training and recruitment programs
  • Supervise, coach, and direct the activities of the Human Resources team
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial employee and labour standards legislation

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HR professional with a strong background in human resources management. You will have a degree or diploma in Human Resource Management and a CHRP designation. You will also possess strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make difficult decisions with conflicting priorities. You will also be able to work at a remote location (camp) on a 13 days on/13 days off rotation and maintain high levels of performance over 12 hour shifts.
