About the Opportunity

Cumberland Council is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Bookings and Community Centres team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and user groups for Council's bookable community spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookings and facilities for Council's community buildings, staffed community centres, sports fields, and open space facilities.
  • Provide information to internal and external stakeholders regarding Council's facilities and assist with any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote our Staffed Community Centres and Bookable Spaces to the wider community.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure efficient facility management.
Requirements
  • Experience in office or facility administration or a related field.
  • Proven computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet competing deadlines.
  • First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
