Domestic Support Caregiver Opportunity in Victoria and Tasmania

Salary and BenefitsAbove award hourly rates are offered, along with salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 + $2,650 annually, annual leave loading, and comprehensive employee assistance programs available 24/7. About the RoleAs a Home Care Domestic Support worker, you will provide domestic assistance, social support, and transportation as needed for clients in Blackburn, Box Hill, Burwood East, Forest Hill, Mitcham, Nunawading, Surrey Hills, and Vermont. You will primarily assist with household tasks, travel between clients' homes, and observe clients' physical, emotional, and behavioral status.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Travel between clients' homes, adhering to schedules and ensuring timely arrival
- Offer social support and transportation services, respecting clients' cultural, spiritual, and individual needs
- Assist clients with activities contributing to a clean, tidy, and safe living environment
- Report observations or concerns regarding clients' well-being
- Prior experience in home care settings or providing domestic support (desirable)
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
- A registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain them
- Knowledge of community care and commitment to maintaining high standards for clients and their families
- An understanding of client-centered care
- The ability to thrive in a team environment while valuing one-on-one interactions
