Job Description:

As a Home Care Worker with Uniting AgeWell, you will play a vital role in delivering direct personal care and domestic assistance to our clients. This rewarding position requires a qualification in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, including assisting clients with showering, grooming, and mobility needs
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Observing clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and reporting any observations or concerns
  • Ensuring clients' rights, cultural, spiritual, and other individual needs are respected in all aspects of care and daily living

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence and a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or a willingness to obtain them

About You:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about caregiving and making a positive difference in the lives of our clients. If you have a Certificate III/IV in Individual Support (Aged or Disability) or are currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Estimated Salary: $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
