About the Role:

As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering direct personal care and domestic assistance, alongside social support and transport as required for clients.

You will be responsible for traveling between clients' homes, providing personal care, assisting with domestic tasks, observing clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and reporting any observations or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traveling between clients' homes
  • Providing personal care including assisting clients with showering, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs
  • Assisting with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Observing clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and reporting any observations or concerns
  • Assisting clients with activities that contribute to a clean, tidy, and safe living environment
  • Ensuring clients' clothing and personal belongings are kept safe and well-maintained
  • Providing social support and transportation services as required
  • Ensuring that clients' rights, cultural, spiritual, and other individual needs are respected in all aspects of care and daily living
  • Providing exceptional customer service by maintaining friendly, supportive, and professional relationships with clients and their relatives

About You:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients and is committed to providing high-quality care and support.

You will need to have a Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), a current Victorian Driver's Licence, a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, and current First Aid and CPR certificates.
