Senior Educator Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to lead our educational programs at Goodstart. As a Senior Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education that caters to the needs of children from birth to school age.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that promote learning and development in children.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with peers to observe, inform, and continuously improve educational programs.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff members.
  • Lead a classroom effectively, engaging with educators, families, and children to implement the educational program.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for leading a classroom effectively and engaging with educators, families, and children.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
