Key Acoustic Consultant

We are looking for an experienced acoustic consultant to work on various projects. As an acoustic consultant, you will be responsible for conducting noise and vibration impact assessments for infrastructure projects.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in acoustic engineering and experience with noise modelling software. They should also have a well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting noise and vibration impact assessments for infrastructure projects
  • Designing noise and vibration mitigation treatments
  • Noise compliance, management plans, and field monitoring activities

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They should also have a strong interest in programming and/or data visualisation skills.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or similar
  • 5-10 years relevant consulting experience in acoustic/noise/vibration engineering
  • Experience with noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, EASE etc)
  • Well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and measurement equipment
