Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Acoustic Specialist to lead projects in Northen NSW region, focusing on noise and vibration assessments for transport infrastructure, power & renewable energy, buildings, water, and environmental noise.

Your primary responsibilities will be conducting noise and vibration impact assessments, applying technical expertise in acoustic consulting, and providing detailed technical reports and documentation.

The successful candidate will have experience with noise modelling software and a well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments for various small and large-scale projects
  • Apply technical expertise in acoustic consulting across diverse projects
  • Noise modelling and data analysis, detailed technical reports, and documentation
  • Design noise and vibration mitigation treatments
  • Noise compliance, management plans, and field monitoring activities
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or similar
  • 5-10 years relevant consulting experience in acoustic/noise/vibration engineering
  • Experience with noise modelling software
  • Well-developed understanding of relevant standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge or interest in programming and/or data visualisation skills
