Structural Asset Advisor

Our organization offers a unique design assessment and advisory service for buildings and infrastructure, working with numerous body corporates and strata managers.

The Opportunity Overview

The structural asset advisors provide remedial advice and project management to clients' structural assets in the Central Coast area. This is a full-time opportunity to work from home, offering flexibility and autonomy in your daily tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site inspections in the Central Coast Area to assess structural conditions and identify potential defects.
  • Provide condition, defect, expert witness reports, tender & contract administration services to clients.
  • Attend client corporation meetings and provide expert advice on building matters.
  • Liaise with Directors in regular consultant sessions to discuss project progress and goals.
  • Occasionally visit head office at North Gosford to collaborate with colleagues and stay updated on company initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Sciences or Construction Management are essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of National Construction Codes and AU Standards is mandatory.
  • A Builder's license is highly desired, but not necessarily required.
  • Membership of AIBS is also highly desirable, indicating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • A current AU driver's license and own vehicle are necessary for site visits and travel.
  • The right to permanently live and work in Australia is essential for this position.
