About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Experiential Education Manager to join our team at Macquarie University. As a key member of our Graduate Futures team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of programs across course, unit, and co-curricular levels for assigned Faculties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive experiential education programs that align with the strategic priorities of each Faculty's Deputy Dean for Education and Employability.
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision, cultivating and modelling a positive workplace culture, high-performance mindset, and fostering team collaboration.
  • Build and manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, educational institutions, and community organisations.
  • Develop and implement course curriculum, and manage the satisfaction of curriculum requirements through third-party educational activities.
  • Navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to higher education and employability initiatives.
  • Conduct data analysis and performance evaluation to assess the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
Requirements
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Extensive experience in managing in-curriculum experiential education programs, combined with a strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and vision, including cultivating and modelling a positive workplace culture, high-performance mindset, and fostering team collaboration.
  • Extensive experience in building and managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing course curriculum, and managing the satisfaction of curriculum requirements through third-party educational activities.
  • Exceptional competency in navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to higher education and employability initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and performance evaluation.
