We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Latrobe Valley/Baw Baw area. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead everyday lives of their choice.
Key Responsibilities- Implement support plans based on the needs, preferences, and interests of the individuals we support.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
- Promote personal choice and control for the individuals we support.
- Administer medication and provide support with medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support.
- A passion for enabling and working with people with disabilities.
- A desire for meaningful work and a willingness to provide daily living support.
- Availability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week (2 hours per shift).
- NDIS Worker screening check.
- Working with Children check.
- Unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status, including booster.
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR.
