What We Do:

As a Disability Support Worker at Melba Support Services, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

You will work closely with our team to implement personalized support plans, promote personal choice and control, and assist with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement support plans based on individual needs and preferences
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and hygiene, household duties, and meal preparation
  • Promote personal choice and control, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about their lives
  • Aid individuals to participate in social events, work, and appointments

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with people with disabilities
  • Desire for meaningful work and ability to provide daily living support
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake ongoing training
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
