Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to support private landowners through various programs aimed at protecting and preserving biodiversity in the Sunshine Coast region.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the area's ecosystems, flora, fauna, and threats to biodiversity.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating understanding of ecology, managing projects effectively, providing environmental advice, and implementing conservation initiatives.

  • Develop and implement partnerships to protect and preserve biodiversity in the Sunshine Coast region
  • Provide professional environmental advice and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Implement conservation programs and ensure compliance with guidelines and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications

You should have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Sciences or equivalent experience, strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to negotiate with private landholders.

Appointment is subject to a pre-employment medical assessment.
