The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced leader to join our Senior Management Team as National Head of Biodiversity. This pivotal role will shape CO2's biodiversity and conservation strategy while leading a national team of specialists to deliver major ecological projects and drive industry innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CO2's national biodiversity strategy in line with environmental policy and client goals.
  • Build cross-functional collaborations across CO2's service offerings.
  • Influence biodiversity and environmental accounting standards across regulatory and scientific sectors.
  • Provide technical expertise on complex ecological matters, including large infrastructure and ecological planting projects.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing national team of biodiversity specialists.
  • Drive innovation, growth, and thought leadership in biodiversity services.

Our ideal candidate has a degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline and 10+ years' consulting experience with strong knowledge of resource and utilisation management.
