Strategic Property Expert

The role of Strategic Property Expert is a critical position that involves leading operational analysis and reporting related to the management of assets within a portfolio of hyperscale data centres.

Located in our headquarters in North Sydney, you will report to a senior director and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific & Japan region.

  • You will be responsible for preparing, analysing, and consolidating property and financial data for asset management reports.
  • Provide updates and reports on financial & operating performance of assets.
  • Lead financial modelling and feasibility analysis to support strategic decision-making across the APJ portfolio.
  • Preparation of property-related statistics (capex and opex cost analysis, cash flow analysis).
  • Lead asset performance analysis and identifying opportunities to enhance portfolio returns and cost reduction.
  • Continuously improve and implement business processes related to financial performance and analysis of owned assets and implement systems to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee complex research initiatives and provide strategic insights to guide the Operations team and senior leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, Business or equivalent discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in property analysis, asset management or similar roles.
  • Strong analytical & financial modelling skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and MS-Project).
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to converse with all levels of staff from senior level management to technical staff.
