We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Communications professional to join our team as a Community Outreach Coordinator.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering community engagement and communications activities to promote the Helpline and the Engagement and Support Program (ESP).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Maintaining and building strong partnerships with community organisations and service providers to support referrals from the Helpline and the ESP.">
  • Developing communications content across various formats to support the department's communications strategy—informing and engaging the community on countering violent extremism while maintaining the department's reputation with key stakeholders.">

You will be working closely with Commonwealth and NSW agencies in delivering programs such as the Engagement and Support Program (ESP) and the Helpline.

This position is ideal for a dynamic and motivated communications professional with a strong track record in developing and delivering impactful campaigns and resources.

">

You should have experience in managing online, digital, and social media content, and have contributed to promotional efforts that support the mission of the Engagement and Support Unit (ESU).

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Communications, Social/Behavioural Science, Welfare, or a related field, or possess equivalent knowledge and experience, with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.">
