Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about community engagement, volunteer management, and disaster response.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to engage with communities, attract new volunteers, and retain existing ones. Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to attract new volunteers and retain existing ones.
  2. Work closely with our teams to develop initiatives and programs that build meaningful volunteering experiences for our members.
  3. Contribute to the development of our volunteer strategy and provide input on key issues related to volunteer management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in community outreach and engagement, volunteer management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of disaster response and emergency management principles and practices.
