About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to play a key role in our technology team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaboration and Technical Solutions - Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  2. Agile Software Development - Collaborate with your team and other teams to deliver high-quality software products using Agile methodologies.
  3. Technical Design and Quality - Maintain a high standard of technical design, code quality, and documentation by following established architectural and coding standards.
  4. Code Development and Integration - Translate technical specifications into clean, maintainable code for new features, enhancements, and integration with third-party products and APIs.
  5. Testing and Defect Resolution - Participate in design and code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution throughout the software development lifecycle.
  6. Automated Test Strategies - Implement automated test strategies to ensure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Code Deployment - Manage code deployment across development, test, and production environments.
  8. Communication and Troubleshooting - Proactively communicate technical issues with your team and technical lead, and troubleshoot production incidents with the support team.
  9. Secure Coding Practices - Adhere to secure coding practices using OWASP guidelines to ensure the security of our applications.
Required Technologies and Skills:
  • Full-Stack Development - Proficiency in full-stack development using Java, Angular, Node.js, Spring, APIs, SQL and NoSQL DBs, AWS, and familiarity with React Native is a plus.
  • DevOps and CI/CD - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD using Git and GitHub Actions.
  • Test Automation and TDD - Familiarity with test automation and test-driven development using Cypress, Playwright, and Jest.
