Speech Pathologist Opportunity

  • Serve adults in residential aged care and the community as a highly skilled Speech Pathologist.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality services to adults living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your calendar of appointments to suit your flexible work schedule.
  • Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties for your clients.
  • Traveling nationally to support clients in regional locations.
  • Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
  • Liaising closely with our national team of Speech Pathologists.
  • Advocating for support for clients with communication difficulties.
  • Collaborating effectively with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met.
  • Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues.
