Software Engineer Role

We are seeking highly skilled software engineers to join our Melbourne-based team, supporting classified programs for the Australian Government.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and support software solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  2. Design innovative solutions for complex problems using your technical expertise.
  3. Participate in agile story mapping and estimation to drive project success.
  4. Implement Secure Development Operations (SecDevOps) practices for system integration and deployment.
  5. Develop web-based UI and enhance user experience through design thinking.
  6. Research and prototype new technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
  7. Contribute to customer demonstrations and business development activities, showcasing your skills and expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with relevant software experience.
  • Experience with system integration (REST API, JSON/XML) and knowledge of open-source technologies (NiFi, Kafka, ELK Stack, Solr).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, git, Ansible) and proficiency in Java and frameworks.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
