About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior People Advisor to join our Rail Operations Business Unit. This Melbourne-based fixed-term parental leave role will be responsible for supporting the implementation and delivery of all people matters, including capability building, talent management, staff engagement, performance management, and industrial relations.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Rail Operations leaders and employees nationally to provide timely and accurate HR/IR advice and guidance, support the facilitation of the annual salary review process, and facilitate and support performance development, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, experience in providing HR and IR advice and support, and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust to deal with sensitive and difficult situations in a diplomatic and respectful manner.
