Early Childhood Educator

This role offers an opportunity to provide a high-quality educational program that supports children's learning and development. The successful candidate will lead the team/room educators in planning, implementing, assessing, and reviewing a diverse educational program based on appropriate curriculum frameworks.

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for promoting children's agency, choices, and influence, while delivering effective documentation of children's learning in accordance with the centre philosophy and Learning Outcomes (EYLF).

Key duties include:

  • Leading the team/room educators to plan, implement, assess, and review a high-quality educational program
  • Actively supporting every child to participate in the program and promote children's agency, choices, and influence
  • Delivering and guiding team/room educators to deliver effective and valuable documentation of children's learning
  • Modeling and supporting team/room educators to utilize various teaching strategies including intentional teaching and reflective practice

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) or other relevant early childhood qualifications
  • Knowledge/experience in the implementation of National Quality Framework, including the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Current first aid as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
  • Current Working with Children Check: Blue Card and positive notice letter
