Lead Educator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced early childhood professional to lead and develop a high-quality educational program that meets the needs of diverse children and families.

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.

  • Develop and implement educational programs and policies that promote child development and well-being
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Supervise and mentor educators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality education and care
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of the service to ensure it meets regulatory requirements and standards
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Lead the development and implementation of educational programs and policies that meet the needs of diverse children and families
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor educators to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality education and care
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of the service to ensure it meets regulatory requirements and standards
  • Communication: Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role in early childhood education
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

Full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
