Job Title: Claims Review Specialist

About the Role

This role is responsible for completing independent reviews of death and disablement claims, ensuring fair outcomes for our customers.

The successful candidate will assess complex claims and make recommendations to customers on behalf of the Trustee.

Effective communication skills are essential in this role, as you will be representing the Trustee in external dispute resolution and litigation-related conciliation conferences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and coach Australian Retirement Trust staff on complex and contested claims.
  • Deliver excellent service to customers and third parties in relation to declined and disputed claims.
  • Represent the Trustee in external dispute resolution and litigation-related conciliation conferences.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in claims assessment and review.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and ability to inspire others.
  • Advanced stakeholder management capability.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and liaise at all levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed business and commercial acumen.
  • A high level of technical competence in Superannuation and Insurance.
