Claims Review Specialist

Job Summary:

  • The Claims Review Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and assessing warranty claims submitted by clients and repairers.
  • Evaluating cost estimates to ensure repair procedures align with policy coverage.
  • Liaising with service providers and clients to validate technical details and clarify discrepancies.
  • Managing and supporting junior assessors and claims officers.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support claim decisions.
  • Escalating high-risk or non-standard claims where required.
  • Supporting the workflow optimisation and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and assessing light vehicle mechanical warranty claims.
  • Ensuring repair procedures align with warranty policy coverage.
  • Liaising with clients and service providers to validate technical details.
  • Assisting in managing junior assessors and claims officers.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Identifying and escalating high-risk claims.
  • Supporting workflow optimisation and compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warranty, claims, or mechanical assessment within automotive, insurance, or warranty industries.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a sound understanding of light vehicle systems and components.
  • Confident communication skills with strong written and verbal abilities.
  • Ability to interpret policy documents and apply coverage rules.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks is desirable.
