Young people aged 12-25 with mental health issues are supported by our multidisciplinary team to improve their health, social, vocational and educational outcomes.

We lead the provision of high-quality physical and mental health services in NSW and the ACT.

About The Role

">

This role involves supporting the delivery of evidence-based interventions and youth-friendly models. It includes facilitating early help-seeking behaviour and seamless access to health and well-being services.

">

The position is split between our headspace Shellharbour and headspace Kiama hubs, with two days per week at each location.

We Are Seeking Someone With

">
  • ">
  • A minimum two years postgraduate experience in mental health service delivery.">
  • Clinical Psychologist or Registered Psychologist with current full AHPRA registration, or">
  • Occupational therapists with current full APHRA registration and additional mental health specific training, or">
  • Social Workers with an approved Social Work Qualification and completed additional mental health specific training, or">
  • Counsellors with current clinical registration as a PACFA Mental Health Practitioner, or">
  • Division 1 Mental Health Nurses with relevant experience in mental health.">

Key Requirements

  • ">
  • Experience in assessment of mental health disorders and provision of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies.">
  • Experience working with young people and their families or carers in a family-inclusive practice model.">
  • Demonstrated understanding of key issues in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.">
