Job Title: Compliance, Quality

The primary objective of this role is to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards in the contract. This involves maintaining accurate records, supporting operational excellence and promoting a safety-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process high-risk permit to work applications to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Onboard contractors and maintain their licensing records to ensure seamless integration into our operations.
  • Support new employee and contractor setup in Ventia's safety systems to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date registers (hazmat, confined space, heritage, risk, etc.) for informed decision-making.
  • Assist with monthly KPI and compliance documentation to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Load hazard reports and generate remediation tasks to prioritize corrective actions.
  • Support toolbox talks, onsite reviews, and quality inspections to foster a culture of safety and excellence.

What You'll Need:
  • Demonstrated experience in Work Health & Safety is essential.
  • Prior admin experience in maintenance or facilities management would be advantageous.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are necessary for efficient data management.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and safety-focused mindset is imperative.
