ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic Buying team within the Womenswear division. This position is crafted to assist the Product Manager in all facets of the buying process, focusing on understanding the target demographic and contributing to the design and selection of commercially viable products that align with seasonal trends and brand strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with senior members of the buying team to conceptualize and implement seasonal product ranges.
  • Oversee the garment development cycle, ensuring the selection of suitable fabrics, trims, colors, and prints.
  • Create buying strategies that resonate with our customer base.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to continually assess and enhance our product offerings.
  • Investigate market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure quality products that meet margin expectations.
  • Coordinate with our direct suppliers across various regions.
  • Manage the critical path and production timelines effectively.
  • Achieve sales and margin goals through ongoing performance analysis and market opportunity assessments.
  • Continuously evaluate performance and future product inspirations to maintain a competitive advantage for the brand.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in buying and product development.
  • Proven ability to manage production processes and critical timelines.
  • Experience working with direct vendors in multiple regions.
  • Strong commercial insight and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficient in budget management and margin analysis.
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
