We're seeking a skilled Merchandise Team Leader to oversee the planning and execution of merchandise retail operations for events across the Melbourne & Olympic Parks precinct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver merchandise retail operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer experiences while managing competing demands from stakeholders and ensuring legislative and safety requirements are met.
  • Plan and schedule resources, event budgets, and lead financial management to deliver a positive commercial return for clients and the business.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through collaborative and supportive leadership, fostering a culture of high-performance and fun.
About You
  • You have a customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • You excel in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You build trust and effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • You have experience in merchandise/retail operations, preferably in the concert/event environment.
  • You possess functional event planning and delivery experience in an arena/stadium, major event, or mixed entertainment environment.
  • You have strong analytical skills, with a focus on benchmarking and continuous improvement.
  • You have strong sales skills and industry best practices in retail/merchandise.
  • You have demonstrated experience leading teams in a fast-paced workplace.
