Position Overview
We are seeking a Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic Buying team within the Womenswear division. This role is pivotal in supporting the Product Manager in various facets of the buying process.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior managers in the buying team to create and implement seasonal product ranges.
- Oversee the garment development process, ensuring the appropriate selection of materials, colors, and patterns.
- Formulate buying strategies that resonate with our target customers.
- Conduct competitor analysis to continually refine and enhance our product offerings.
- Stay informed on market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure quality products that meet financial targets.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers across various regions.
- Manage timelines and production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor sales performance and market opportunities to achieve budgeted goals.
- Continuously assess performance and future product inspirations to maintain a competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in buying and product development.
- Proven ability to manage production processes and timelines.
- Familiarity with direct vendor relationships across multiple locations.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficient in budget management and margin analysis.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
