Job Title: Regional Wellbeing Consultant
Supporting School Staff Wellbeing

Foster a positive and supportive environment for staff in schools across the Far North Queensland Region. Our wellbeing consultant will work closely with school leadership teams to identify and address staff wellbeing needs, contributing to initiatives that promote health and wellbeing.

  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with school leadership teams to foster a culture of mutual respect and support among staff members.
  • Health and Wellbeing Initiatives: Contribute to the design and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives, providing expert advice and practical support in response to challenging situations.
  • Psiho-Social Wellbeing: Focus on psychosocial wellbeing, supporting school leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team to manage issues related to occupational violence and aggression.
  • Network and Collaboration: Establish networks and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement health and wellbeing initiatives throughout schools in the region.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Expert Consultancy: Consult with regional staff and provide expert advice on staff wellbeing.
  • Initiative Coordination: Lead the regional coordination and implementation of health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Advice and Resources: Liaise with schools and regional teams to provide expert advice on staff wellbeing planning and resources.
  • Presentation and Workshops: Deliver engaging wellbeing presentations and workshops on staff wellbeing as required.
