Regional Wellbeing Specialist

The Regional Wellbeing Consultant will play a pivotal role in fostering staff wellbeing and resilience across schools in the Far North Queensland Region.
This position involves working closely with school leadership teams to identify and address staff wellbeing needs, contributing to initiatives that promote health and wellbeing, and providing practical advice and support in response to challenging situations.
Responsibilities Include- Consulting with key regional staff to progress staff wellbeing.
- Liaising and collaborating with schools and regional teams to provide expert advice on staff wellbeing planning, initiatives, and supporting resources.
- Providing regular reports to the Regional Office and Staff Wellbeing team on regional and school progress regarding addressing and supporting the wellbeing of staff.
- Delivering engaging wellbeing presentations and workshops on staff wellbeing as required at conferences and forums to assist in developing staff capability including the delivery of training such as Psychological First Aid training.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can establish networks, collaborate, and liaise with key stakeholders across the department and from other agencies and organisations to successfully implement health and wellbeing initiatives throughout schools in the region.
