Job Overview

The Trade Counter Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the trade by providing exceptional customer service and product information.

We are seeking an experienced retail sales professional or customer service representative to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent customer service and information about products to plumbers and other tradespeople.
    • Generate quotes both in person and over the phone.
    • Conduct stock control activities, including picking, packing, and maintaining shop floor displays.
    • Ensure a safe and tidy working environment.
    • Make occasional deliveries to customers using company vehicles.
  • Requirements:
    • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records and information.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
