Transport Allocator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Transport Allocator to join our team at BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for rostering and managing fleet drivers, ensuring effective planning, communication, and maximum fleet utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks and services utilising our company and contractor fleet effectively.
  • Record and maintain daily reports to ensure timely service deliveries.
  • Conduct safety inspections, ensure routine servicing and maintenance of fleet.
  • Effectively communicate with our customer, internal stakeholders, and the greater warehouse team.
  • Adhere to strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.
Requirements:
  • Prioritise and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
  • Able to adapt to software and technology.
  • Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

We offer a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Saturday with the possibility of schedule adjustments based on business needs.
