Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Transport Allocator to join our team in Yatala, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for rostering and managing fleet drivers, ensuring effective planning, communication, and maximum fleet utilization. You will also support initiatives for driver welfare while providing exceptional high-standard service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate daily tasks and services utilizing our company and contractor fleet effectively.
  • Record and maintain daily reports to ensure timely service deliveries.
  • Conduct safety inspections, ensure routine servicing and maintenance of fleet.
  • Effectively communicate with our customers, internal stakeholders, and the greater warehouse team.
  • Adhere to strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.

Requirements

  • Prioritize and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
  • Able to adapt to software and technology.
  • Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
