About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Transport Allocator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for rostering and managing fleet drivers, ensuring effective planning, communication, and maximum fleet utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Allocation: Plan and allocate daily tasks and services utilizing our company and contractor fleet effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Record and maintain daily reports to ensure timely service deliveries.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Conduct safety inspections, ensure routine servicing and maintenance of fleet.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with our customer, internal stakeholders, and the greater warehouse team.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and guidelines.
  • Safety Standards: Participate and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.

Requirements:

  • Self-Motivation: Prioritize and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
  • Report Writing: Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
  • Adaptability: Able to adapt to software and technology.
  • Proactive Approach: Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
