We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Transport Allocator to join our team at BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox. As a key member of our business unit, you will be responsible for rostering and managing fleet drivers, ensuring effective planning, communication, and maximum fleet utilisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and allocate daily tasks and services utilising our company and contractor fleet effectively.
- Record and maintain daily reports to ensure timely service deliveries.
- Conduct safety inspections, ensure routine servicing and maintenance of fleet.
- Effectively communicate with our customer, internal stakeholders, and the greater warehouse team.
- Adhere to strict adherence to all relevant policies and procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in and commit to Safety Standards and COR requirements.
- Prioritise and manage the daily workload in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities.
- Provide clear and concise communication in written reports.
- Able to adapt to software and technology.
- Have a proactive approach and positive attitude.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
We offer a Permanent Full-time position, working Monday to Saturday with the possibility of schedule adjustments based on business needs. Hours are early morning shifts starting from 04:30am and finishing at 1:00pm. If you are a self-motivated individual who enjoys the day-to-day challenges, then this is the role for you.
