Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented data professional to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data systems. As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall code quality.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance data processing efficiency and scalability.
  • Work closely with the data governance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on architecture and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, including AWS and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
