About Us:
The Australian Football League (AFL) is a national sporting organization working to enhance and grow the game of Australian Rules football across all states and levels.
As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering participation programs in Northern Tasmania using a targeting approach to maximize participation and engagement with local communities.
- Coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs to ensure high-quality experiences for participants.
- Recruit and manage Auskick and Superkick Coordinators to support program growth and development.
- Develop and implement regional action plans to drive targeted delivery and maximum participation impact.
You will work closely with teachers, schools, and other stakeholders to increase School Teacher Members and support ongoing training and education for casual staff. Your goal will be to increase participation across key segments including AFL Auskick, Superkick Community Football, Nines, and School Football.
Experience working with children and young people strong communication and interpersonal skills, and qualifications in sports coaching management recreation or education are essential. You will also be willing to work outside normal business hours from time to time.
