Participation Programs Coordinator

This role is responsible for delivering participation programs that foster maximum engagement and growth within target markets. The successful candidate will coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs, recruit and manage program coordinators, and implement regional action plans to achieve targeted outcomes.

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase participation in NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, schools, and community organizations to promote School Teacher Members
  • Provide training and support for casual staff to deliver high-quality AFL programs
  • Support the development of school football pathways to increase participants registering for School Football
  • Deliver programs to enhance the transition and retention of community footballers

Key Responsibilities:

The Participation Programs Coordinator plays a vital role in driving participation and engagement in our target markets.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid Working with Children Check and satisfactory criminal history record check
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Qualifications in Sports Coaching/Management, Recreation, Education, or equivalent depth of experience
  • A love for the game of AFL and a commitment to its growth and development
  • Tasmanian Driver's License and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
