About the Role- Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive internal and external financial reporting and filings for all legal entities.
- Manage AASB / IFRS technical accounting considerations, including sustainability reporting requirements.
- Lead tax accounting aspects, partnering with the Tax team on transfer pricing, income tax, GST, FBT.
- Oversee GL account maintenance, recording complex transactions, and maintaining changes to the GL framework.
- Manage intercompany settlements and allocations from the Group Finance team.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure data quality and relevance for statutory and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct consolidations and reconciliations of data from various sources for accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead a team of 3, focusing on individual development plans.
- Promote the CFO change agenda, supporting global initiatives.
- Identify and document continuous improvement opportunities in processes, controls, and workpapers.
- CA/CPA certification or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience in financial control, leading successful teams.
- Experience in process enhancements, technology change initiatives, and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial mindset.
- Experience with control frameworks, commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent multitasking skills, managing shifting priorities effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, packaging information clearly and concisely.
- Full Australian working rights and fluent English skills.
