Responsibilities:
  • Manage Gateway Security team members and Duty Officers.
  • Guide team members on routine obligations.
  • Provide technical direction as requested and assist in training of team members.
  • Oversee DSMS queues and assign work where required.
  • Respond to client queries, complaints or concerns when required.
  • Ensure Defence network protection by enforcing Defence internet access policy.
  • Advise wider Gateway Operations team and MILOPS on security matters.
  • Make security decisions on behalf of MILOPS regarding request approval or rejection.
  • Monitor email mailbox and respond to data spills or other security incidents.
  • Support Defence projects passing through the Defence Gateway.
  • Troubleshoot systems/solutions not yet handed over into the RUN space.
