Surgical Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technology Specialist to join our team.

  • As the in-theatre expert, you will provide technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during Mako-assisted procedures.
  • You will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • In this role, you will conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology is essential for success in this position.
  • You will provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams, promoting excellence in surgical care.
  • This role requires travel across regions to support multiple hospital sites.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation.

  • Candidates may come from fields such as orthopaedic clinical support, biomedical science/engineering, medical device experience, operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience, physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure, or human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience.
