Internal Audit Expert

This position focuses on the investment teams and their portfolio management and trading processes. You will oversee the execution and coordination of risk-based audit and advisory engagements across aligned investment divisions and functional areas to evaluate the internal control environment and contribute to the implementation and operations of audit procedures.

  • Deliver high-quality audit and advisory services
  • Evaluate the adequacy of the control environment and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and communicate engagement objectives to the audit and investment management teams
  • Challenge established processes and controls to ensure they mitigate risk
  • Influence management to act on recommendations and strengthen the control environment
  • Communicate expectations and provide meaningful feedback to develop team members
  • Establish and maintain relationships with investment management across aligned divisions and risk partners
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to persuade and influence others diplomatically in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, dynamic and high-quality-focused environment
