Risk Management Specialist

This is a senior-level position within our Investment and Fund Services team.
- Key responsibilities include actively identifying potential risks across our business operations, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- The successful candidate will implement and uplift risk management practices and controls within our organisation.
- Ongoing monitoring of risk controls and regular reporting to senior management and risk committees are also key aspects of this role.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management.
- Close collaboration with other teams will be necessary to ensure an integrated approach to risk management.
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal roles with relevant experience in financial services regulation.
- Experience working in or providing services to a regulated Superannuation/Investment financial services business is highly desirable.
- A sound understanding and ability to operate within Legal, Risk, and Compliance frameworks is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide value-add advice to stakeholders in respect of risk culture behaviours and consequences are also required.
